Criminal Justice Associates provides lie detection - truth verification services to government agencies, licensed private security agencies. 

This also includes corporate security departments ranging from small firms to Fortune 500/1000 that do not have in house lie detection -truth verification expertise.  We have Human Resource experience in terms of public sector agencies and private companies.  All Inquiries are Confidential. All matters related to HIPPA based cases are protected pursuant with applicable laws.

Government Agencies - City, County, & State Agencies 

We provide pre employment interviews and exams for Police, Fire, 911 Dispatch, and Emergency Services.  Such exams are conducted in compliance with state laws (where applicable) and federal law.   

This also includes interview & examinations for Professional Standards - Internal Affairs matters.  While agencies often use personnel internally to conduct these exams, our firm can get involved when conflict of interest surfaces, or some other problem that precludes it being handled internally.
We conduct interviews & exams for matters involving sexual mis-conduct, false reports, sexual harassment and/or hostile workplace, use of force issues, criminal accusations, and other matters.  Some agencies do not allow tests for professional standards - internal affairs matters for a host of reasons.  

This does not precluded the employee of a law enforcement, fire, 911 dispatch, or emergency services organization from taking a test on his or her own.  The purpose being to clear that person's name from an accusation.  Typically these exams are conducted in association with legal counsel wo controls the entire process.  While the results of any lie detector test or truth verification exam are not accepted in all cases. It does demonstrate the person being accused wants to provide any and all possible information to resolve the matter. Normally attorneys do not want his or her client to take a lie detector test in the event they fail, and end up making the matter worse.  When the exam is governed by attorney client work product all of the results are CONFIDENTIAL and released only if the attorney feels the results will be productive. 

Licensed Private Security Companies - Armored Car Companies 

Our firm provides interview and examination services to private security companies having issues with a current employee(s).  Examples would be criminal acts conducting on duty or from a customers location.  False reports,  sexual harassment, violations of policy, and other matters.   We also can conduct pre employment exams on armored car drivers and related personnel.  This also would include theft of cash or other property from the armored car company.  In addition we can interview and test potential and current employees of prisoner transport companies.  This also includes people working for private prisons working under a state contract. 

Corporate Security Departments -  Small to Large Companies 

Security departments from time to time have the need for outside assistance. They have the task of protecting the company, the people working at one of many locations, corporate assets, and other concerns.  We can provide a wide range of services for these companies that include theft, assault of other employees or customers, vendor kickback and fraud schemes, sexual harassment & hostile workplace to name a few.  In addition we can interview and test IT (Information Technology) direct employees and contractors in cases of intellectual property violations, hackers and other malicious insiders.  All interviews and exams are conducted in compliance with state & federal law.
