Criminal Justice Associates provides a Full Range of Lie Detection – Truth Verification Services in major Florida cities to include Orlando FL, Daytona Beach, FL, Tampa FL, Clearwater FL, Kissimmee FL, Celebration/Disney World FL, Jacksonville FL and other cities.   

We use Computerized Polygraph, Professional Grade VSA (Voice Stress Analyzers) VIPRE VSA & AVSAPRO Millennium , and the Converus Eye Detect Systems. These (3) Credibility Assessment Technologies are the primary ones used in lie detection - truth verification examinations.   

We use Computerized Polygraph systems, and by federal trained polygraph examiners. Our examiners are members of major polygraph associations as the APA, NPA, and others.  The polygraph requires the examinee have at least 7-8 hours of sleep prior to the exam, no major medical conditions, and be able to sit still during the examination.  People that are even partially intoxicated, under the influence of marijuana or other drugs, will impact the results. The polygraph requires multiple sensors to be attached to the examinee and use of a specialized chair.  Person(s) taking a polygraph should be able to remain still in a special chair for at least 45-minutes.  

We also utilize Industry Standard Professional Grade (Voice Stress Analyzers) The VSA system has been the polygraph alternative in past years, and one of the reasons for it's development.  There are over (6) vendors of VSA systems worldwide.  The VSA system is one of the systems of choice when testing examinees with medical conditions, anxiety, and even those simply unable to remain still for a polygraph examination. Only in the past 10-years has the VSA system reached the proper level of acceptance by government, security, legal, and security entities.

We only use Professional Grade VSA instruments including the VIPRE VSA, and the AVSAPRO Millennium. These units have an accuracy levels of 92%-95% and dependent on a few factors. The VSA system is non invasive to the examinee reducing the interview and exam stress significantly. Our Certified Examiners are members of the IAVSA which is the APA equivalent for Voice Stress Expert Examiners. We also are part of the  AVSE (Alliance of Voice Stress Examiners) The VIPRE VSA and AVSAPRO are not linked to proprietary trade associations or claiming accuracy based on controversial technical studies. Unlike the computerized polygraph, these industry standard VSA's such as the VIPRE VSA & AVSAPRO Millennium (Polygraph Alternatives) have no known countermeasures that can defeat it. Both VSA systems can test examinees NOT medically qualified to take a polygraph for health reasons or those suffering from severe panic and/or anxiety disorders. In addition both VSA systems can test pregnant women.

Once properly interviewed and with parental consent it can test children from 10 years of age and up.  One of the best operational features of the VSA for both adult and children as it allows normal movement during the examination.  Our firm can also provide specialized analysis of telephone calls, real time or on tape. This is valuable in detecting high stress and/or deception for lawful purposes in Board of Directors Meetings, Depositions, Confidential Business or Technical Presentations, and other applications.   

The Converus Eye Detect System is the newest and most revolutionary credibility assessment technology. It was developed by the original developers of the computerized polygraph. The Brain & Eyes respond to Deception.  The greater the consequences of the lie, the greater the cognitive load in his/her Brain, and this has a major impact on the eyes. The Eye Detect System measures changes in Pupil diameter, Eye Movement, Reading Behavior, Eye Blinks, Fixations, and other key areas.  Using an infrared Camera and Complex Algorithm, his/her credibility score is calculated as either Truthful or Deceptive.  The examinee must have good eyes for the exam to be effective.
